Favorite Music:

Hmmmm.....Cannot listen to the "mad at my dad music" To this day I still do not "get" or understand the appeal of Pearl Jam, not only did they and Nirvana practically kill hair metal, or good time music, but they also made it en vogue to be plain, wear jeans and a flannel shirt, don't wash your hair, throw a baseball cap on, and you're a rockstar. In my opinion, they took a lot of the style and personality out of mainstream music. So Butch Walker isn't even on the same level as anyone else out there today, light years ahead.....and I am stoked to hear he's producing and possibly co/writing the new Motley Crue record.........good to see Crue back in the limelight. That's what a show is supposed to be about! I have a pretty wide range of music I like, Cheap Trick, did I mention Butch? Everclear, Pink and Kelly Clarkson( I know what you're thinking), Chingon, Bon Jovi, Enuff Znuff has always been a fave of mine, and recently their ex singer, Donnie Vie has been putting some great solo stuff out on his own at his website, he's a true talent. That band should have been huge, but for whatever reason...I mean Firehouse, Trixter, and Warrant, just off the top of my head had more successful careers than Enuff, with one tenth the talent/songwriting skills. Hanoi Rocks ruled for a long time imo.....Will Ferrell on the cowbell, I can go on and on...maybe I'll come back and add so this is a work in progress.

Favorite Movies:

Wow, too many to list here, but in no particular order: Kill Bill, Usual Suspects, Donnie Brasco, Night at the Roxbury, Heat, Goodfella's, anything by Kevin Smith, Almost Famous, Anchorman(a classic!) Wedding Crashers, M. Night Shamalamadingdong or whatever his name is, Signs, Sixth Sense, Unbreakable, that guy, most stuff from Quentin, anything with a "Keyser Soze or Sixth Sense ending" I love to get reeled in hook, line, and sinker.

Favorite TV Shows:

Not too keen on many tv shows, and do not at the moment have Dish/Cable BUT I can't live without(again in no particular order): Family Guy, Da Ali G Show, The Shield, The Sopranos, Beavis and Butthead, Six Feet Under, VH1 Behind the music, remaking of, anything eighties, etc. I have always been a fan of Saturday Night Live, although lately, it's like an old horse that needs to be shot and put out of it's misery. A few years back they had some great stuff with Will Ferrel, Craig the cheerleader, Alta Dina Middleschool music teacher, the "lovers in the hot TUB" Ace and Gary, the Ambiguously Gay Duo, etc. etc.....any silly stuff that'll make me laugh. Lately I have had American Idol fever just like everyone else in America. Not sure who's gonna win, Daughtry seems like the hands down favorite, but he's more of a rockin guy, not really in line with the other Idols, Clay Aiken, Reuben, etc....But it would be cool to see a rocker get a break and win. If not him, I have to say McFee......

Favorite Books:

Most Dean Koontz, Stephen King, Anne Rice, jumped on the Dan Brown bandwagon, and the James Frey bandwagon as well, enjoyed his stuff even though it was later revealed to be somewhat fabricated. The Dirt is a classic, The Game by Neil Strauss is hilarious, Napolean Hill-Think and grow rich has some valuable advice/lessons there....Brian Lumley, Clive Barker, Al Franken, Michael Moore, pretty much any rock n' roll autobiography, Walk This Way.
